Puma Women’s Blaze shoe RRP: £80
Puma has been at the forefront of sports shoe design since the original company was founded by Adolf and Rudolf Dassler back in 1924. Puma is famous for its football boots, running shoes, fashion trainers and more recently golf shoes. Since entering the golf market, Puma has been at the cutting edge of design, challenging the norm and adding spark and style to the golf shoe. As such, many fashion conscious players have chosen to wear Puma shoes, amongst them Rickie Fowler and Lexi Thompson.
The Puma Women’s Blaze showcases a blend of conventional golfing style and more contemporary touches. With a base colour of white and unfussy uppers, the coloured heel and sole give a snazzy edge to the look.
The full grain leather uppers are soft and supple and come with a one-year waterproof guarantee. The shoe is lightweight and flexible, very comfortable to wear for long periods of time.
One of the most impressive features in this shoe is the PWRCOOL provided by Outlast – this technology is designed to regulate the temperature of your foot, making use of phase change materials that absorb, store and release heat for optimised thermal comfort. This means the shoe should keep you warmer when it’s cold and cooler when it’s hot – pretty clever stuff!
The molded EVA sockliner gives great comfort and support as does the use of FusionFoam. The Stealth Cleats provide excellent grip and the carbon rubber outsole will help you stay stable through the swing.
