Q: Do you have any memories of De Vicenzo winning at Hoylake?
Angel Cabrera: I'm 35 and it's 39 years since it happened, so I don't remember very much
Q: You may have trouble remembering 1967 but will you nevertheless take inspiration from what happened then?
Angel Cabrera: It's very difficult to take inspiration from something you haven't seen.
Q: What score do you think you will need tomorrow?
Angel Cabrera: One less than the guy who comes second.
Q: Was there one shot this week that – a links-style golf shot that you were able to pull off?
Angel Cabrera: No, I didn't feel anything in particular about a links golf shot
…Andrew Marshall (who came in last and ensured the cut came at one under par):
Q: What was the feeling in the locker room last night seeing as you kicked a lot of guys out of the tournament?
Andrew Marshall: There was no one in the locker room
…Paul Casey
Q: What happened on those two holes where you made triple bogeys?
Paul Casey: Well, that's 15 shots I'd have to describe so we might be here for a while.
Q: How many bunkers were you in today?
Paul Casey: It wasn't the number of bunkers, it was the number of shots I took to get out of them.
…John Bickerton
Q: What did Tom Watson say to you?
John Bickerton: He said, 'Good morning John.'
… Chris DiMarco
Q: It's become almost a myth that when Tiger leads going into the last round of a Major he wins. How do you get that out of your mindset?
Chris DiMarco: I don't think we have that mindset, it's you guys who keep bringing it up.
